The Museum of Florida History in Tallahassee offers free admission every day, with a donation suggested.
The exhibits cover Florida’s first people, the colonial era, transportation, early tourism, and more. More than 46,800 artifacts tell the story of Florida’s history from the prehistoric area until today. The museum is also home to Florida’s World War II Living Memorial.
Free “Second Saturday Family Programs” offer special activities for children.
