Other Deals For Gators-Bulldogs Game

Various venues on Amelia Island are offering deals for the Florida-Georgia football weekend.

Here are some others.

The game is the weekend before Halloween in Jacksonville.

  • The Amelia Island Hampton Inn at the Beach offers guests a third night free, 904-321-1111
  • The Residence Inn Amelia Island is hosting a free Friday Night Beer Blast at check-in for all reservations booked by October 7. 
  • The Omni Amelia Island Plantation offers guests round trip transportation to the game, for a fee. Tickets are $100 per person and include boxed lunch, beer, bottled water and soda. For transportation tickets, call 904-277-5920.
  • The Omni Amelia Island Plantation is offering several events.  On Friday, October 28, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., a block party is at The Shops at Omni Amelia Island Plantation. The event includes  family-friendly activities,  music,  inflatable obstacle course and bounce house and trick-or-treating in the shops. From 7 to 10 p.m., the Jim Beam Party offers live music, UGA highlights, game tent with simulators and video games, specialty cocktails and more. The after-party kicks off at 10 p.m. at Falcon’s Nest.

We previously featured an item about several inns and hotels in Amelia Island offering 15 percent discounts for a minimum two night stay with reservations made by September 29.
