It is deceiving that not all Winn Dixie stores are participating in fuel perks. I shopped at the North Port Store #0662on 4/08/11. I prepared for my shopping trip by checking the BOGO offers and clipping my coupons as usual. I thought that all the Winn Dixie stores were participating in this as the fuel perks card didn’t say anything different and the Winn Dixie store had not posted notification that it did or did not participate. It was not until I had checked out and paid that I checked my receipt and was informed that they don’t do fuel perks. I was agitated about this to say the least. I spent $255.21, what was I supposed to do at that point about it. Well, the next time the store can put $255 of groceries away and lose that sale. If I go to the trouble to check all the sale items and prepare to shop at your “stores” then I expect all th privileges that entails. I have been faithfully shopping at Winn Dixie for many years as I find the best values. However, I found this shopping trip to be disappointing and deceiving. A program like that which is advertised, should be an across the board offering, not just select stores.
