Enjoy Wetlands & Wildlife Free
Posted on | December 29, 2009 | No Comments

Lots of wildlife — and folks who enjoy them — hang out at a wetlands region in suburban Delray Beach.
The Wakodahatchee Wetlands, on Jog Road between Woolbright Road and Atlantic Avenue, attracts an assortment of wildlife, including more than 140 bird species.
The area, which features a boardwalk, is established as a wetlands ecosystem with reclaimed water from Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department.
It’s free to browse and stroll everyday. For tours and other info, phone 561-493-6000.
