Free Pioneer Day Event in Park

Old-fashioned family activities, including weaving and nature walks, are featured during a free event a state park in northwest Florida.
Other activities include making rag dolls. Candle dipping and campfire cooking demonstrations also are featured.
The Fall Pioneer Day festivitities are Saturday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park, 4281 Highway 20 East, Niceville.
