Discount days at state fair in Tampa

Hop on a ride, stroll through the farm animals, sample the chocolate-covered bacon (no, it’s not a joke), at this year’s Florida State Fair, which runs through Feb. 16 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

Adults 55 and older can get a break on admission Feb. 12, paying just $6. Student discount days are Feb. 6 and Feb. 16. Children ages 6 to 11 pay $5; those 12 through 12th grade pay $6.
