Free concerts in MIami Beach
Miami Beach’s Arts in the Parks, a free family-friendly arts program, launches its fourth season this weekend.
Here is the schedule:
- Sunday, Feb. 21, 4 p.m., Flamingo Park, Meridian Avenue and 13th Street: Jacob Jeffries Band.
- Saturday, March 6, 4 p.m., North Shore Open Space Park, Collins Avenue and 80th Street: Salsa Explosion featuring Anabel.
- Saturday, March 27, 8 p.m., Flamingo Park, Meridian Avenue and 13th Street: Ground Up & Rising presents Shakespeare’s Othello.
- Saturday, April 24, 2 p.m., North Shore Youth Center Park, 501 72nd St.: Aaron Nigel Smith.
- Sunday, May 9, 5 p.m., Flamingo Park, Meridian Avenue and 13th Street: Florida Grand Opera Mother’s Day Concert.

Leader to The Los Angeles Times and The Miami Herald, where she worked most recently.
